Prevent Calcium Buildup

Have you noticed calcium and effervescence building up on the outside of raised Spa wall stainsspas and raised walls on swimming pools? There is an easy way to stop this from happening:

Use a sealant to seal the gunite. This will prevent moisture from coming through the opposite side, eliminating those ugly white stains.

Not every pool builder will do something like this, so be sure that you specify and ask for a sealant that will work on both the positive and negative side of the gunnite structure.

Once sealed, the buildup should be drastically reduced to the point where it is unnoticeable.
